Basketball Free-Throw Competition
2nd annual Swoosh Contest - September 2011
For the second year in a row ASTAC brings you the Swoosh Contest, a free-throw competition in each of the villages ASTAC serves. Following the huge success of last year’s contest, ASTAC decided to make it an annual event. The winner from each village receives $100 and is entered in a drawing for the grand prize: a trip for two to the Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout basketball tournament in Anchorage Thanksgiving weekend. Second place winners in each village receive an ASTAC T-shirt and tote bag.
ASTAC will be at the community center around the time of each SWOOSH contest. Come check out the latest cell phones and accessories. You might even be eligible for a free phone!
