Basketball Free-Throw Competition
3rd annual Swoosh Contest
October 2 - November 2, 2012
The ASTAC Swoosh contest is a basketball free-throw competition held in Anaktuvuk Pass, Atqasuk, Barrow, Kaktovik, Nuiqsut, Point Hope, Point Lay, and Wainwright.
All ages are welcome to participate in the contest.
First and Second Place winners under the age of 18 are required to have their parent or legal guardian present to sign releases before prizes can be awarded. You do not need to be an ASTAC customer to win.
GRAND PRIZE (1 winner)
If the grand prize winner is under the age of 18, he or she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Package for 2 people: Game tickets to Great Alaska Shootout basketball tournament 11/20/2012 - 11/24/2012 (women & men’s games), Round trip airfare to and from Anchorage, and 5 nights lodging at Crowne Plaza.
Meals and transportation in Anchorage are not provided by ASTAC and are the responsibility of the winner.
Grand Prize Drawing will be held November 5th in Anchorage.
FIRST PLACE (8 winners, 1 in each village)
Entered into Grand Prize Drawing, $100.00 CASH, Cell Phone Holder, and Fleece Headband.
SECOND PLACE (8 winners, 1 in each village)
Purple Hoody Sweatshirt, and Fleece Headband.
ASTAC will also be at each community center with cell phones and other products available for sale.
